Rules

1. All fics must be at least 1500 words. There's no maximum. No underage fics are allowed.

2. All types of account (LJ, DW, AO3) are allowed! We're hosting the exchange here because it's easier for us, but you don't need a DW account to join it.

3. All fics must be written in English, and must be beta-read. If you can't find a beta, please contact us and we will find one for you.

4. Since this is an Arashi-centric exchange, you should list AT LEAST TWO pairings within Arashi members for what you want to receive and for what you want to write in your sign-up. You can also request and/or write drama crossovers if your recipient is content with it.

5. An exchange is done anonymously so it's a big no to talk to your recipient! Therefore, please don't post your fic before the reveals, and please don't talk about it out in public before that moment, so that the exchange can serve its purpose. After the reveals, you're free to post your work wherever you like! If you need to ask your recipient a question, tell us and we will act as a go-between.

6. Please be sure to respect what your recipient has stated in their likes and dislikes.

7. If you need an extension or want/need to drop out, please inform us as soon as possible. We understand that life gets in the way, so we won't ban you or do anything of the sort. Just, please, let us know immediately so we can work it out – and assign your recipient to a pinch hitter in case you're dropping out.

8. Once you finish your assignment, send us the fic at stormyexchangemod@gmail.com as attachments. Be sure to send both the HTML version of your work and the .doc one.

Sign-ups: 26th June - July 11th

Assignments sent by: July 16th

Deadline for un-betaed fics: October 18th

Deadline for betaed fics: October 27th

Posting starts on: November 3rd

Reveals: A week after the last fic has been posted.

Stormy Exchange? Is it any different than Arashi Exchange?
- The answer is no. Stormy Exchange has the exact same purpose of Arashi Exchange, which was last held in 2018. We wanted to revive it in 2021 and tried to contact the previous mods. However, we couldn't get in touch with them, hence we decided to create our own version.
The content will be the same, just know that we are NOT the mods who originally run the Arashi Exchange. We are thankful for the wonderful exchanges they gave us – go check their community if you'd like to read beautiful fics! – and we hope to measure up to their previous work.
